To check the recent calls on the Samsung SCH-a990, you will press ’send’ while on the home screen, which looks like the image to the left. The model will then display a list of the most recent calls. Included in the list will be all calls that were dialed, missed, and received.
If you would like you know if a particular call was dialed, missed, or received, you can highlight the number and press ‘Open’. You will then find on your screen the type of call it was. You will also see the number, time of the call, date of the call, and the duration of the call.
Placing A Call While Checking Recent Calls
Whenever you have a number highlighted with the Samsung SCH-a990, you will be able to call it by pressing ’send’. The recent calls list is no exception, so to call a number from the list you will simply highlight it and then press ’send’.

Answering a call on the Samsung SCH-a990 is quite simple. When a person is calling you, you will simply press the ’send’ button.
If you want to ignore a call on this phone, you will instead press the top-right key on your keypad, which will have ‘Ignore’ written directly above it.
If you would like to simply quiet the call, you will instead press the top-left key on your keypad, which will be labeled ‘Quiet’.
Answering Calls While Already On The Phone
If you’re already on a call, you can switch over to a new call by simply pressing the ’send’ key. To switch back, you will simply press the ’send’ key again. If you want to ignore the new call, you will simply do nothing, and the new caller will be sent to your voicemail.
