Transferring A Picture, Sound, Or Video Over Bluetooth - Motorola Razr2 V9m
September 26, 2007
In order to transfer a regular file via Bluetooth, you will first need to make sure that both devices are powered up with Bluetooth on. The model that will be receiving the file needs to be set to ‘Find Me’ mode. Once that is accomplished, you will need to follow these steps:
- Find the picture, video, or sound clip on the device that will be sending.
- Press the right softkey, which is the upper-right hand key on the keypad.
- Select ‘Send’.
- Select ‘Bluetooth’.
- Select ‘Add New Device’ if you haven’t sent to this phone before, you select the receiving phone if you have.
- Enter your pin code. Default is 0000.
- Accept the transfer on the receiving phone.
That’s it! You can repeat the process as many times as you would like, depending on the memory of each of the handsets you happen to be working with.
How To Transfer Contacts To Another Bluetooth Phone - MotoRazr2 V9m
September 25, 2007
This phone is so freaking cool, it allows you to transfer files to another phone by using Bluetooth. Ok, it’s not that cool anymore but we like it. The other phone you’re transferring the contact to has to be able to accept ‘vcard’, which means it’s going to have to be a Verizon phone with that capability.
Here’s how you do it:
- Turn Bluetooth on for both phones.
- Press the upper-right key on your Razr2’s keypad to open the contact list.
- Scroll to the entry you want to transfer and then hit the upper-right key again.
- Select ‘Send Name Card’.
- Select ‘Bluetooth’.
- Select the name card and press send, which will be the center key.
- Select ‘Add New Device’ if you have never sent to that phone, or select the phone if you have.
- Enter your pin code. The default pin code is 0000.
