How To Remove The Battery From The Samsung Juke
October 16, 2007
Removing the battery on the Samsung Juke for Verizon is fairly simple and straightforward. If you remember putting the battery on when you purchased the model it’s probably going to be really easy. If you don’t, it’s probably still going to be very easy. Here are some step by step instructions that you can follow to get the battery off:
There is a small release button on the bottom of the phone that you will press:
That button releases the battery. Once it’s been pressed, the bottom of the battery should pop itself up. All you should have to do from there is lift the battery off the phone, starting at the bottom end.
Putting the battery back on will be exactly the opposite. ![]()
Samsung Juke Features And Specifications
October 16, 2007
The Verizon Juke phone by Samsung is a music phone with a very unique design. The model is amazingly slim, and sports a funky hinge that allows the user to swing the model open strangely for a one of a kind form factor. The model is available in red, navy, and teal.
Verizon Juke Features
- 2 GB internet memory. Since the model uses some of that memory, you can expect less that you will actually be able to save stuff too. Even so, not bad.
- Music player. This player will support mP3, WMA, WMA Pro, AAC & AAC+. You’re bases seems to be covered here. What, no ogg vorbis? lol
- Playlist manager. You are able to add, delete, and modify playlists.
- Syncable. Music can be moved from pc to phone and this model actually comes with a USB cable unlike many of the Motorolas sold by Verizon Wireless.
- Stereo Bluetooth. The Juke supports the following Bluetooth profiles: Headset, Hands–free, Bluetooth Stereo Support for Music, Serial Port & Object Push for vCard only. Don’t expect it to do all of the OBEX profiles because it doesn’t support those unfortunately.
- Camera - VGA camera. In other words don’t plan on taking any decent pictures.
- Messaging - Supports text and picture messaging.
- Advanced Voice Commands
- Speed Dialing

Key Features The Juke Is Missing
- Ev-Do
- Bluetooth OBEX
- Mobile Web (What were they thinking?)
This model is really cool, but isn’t that functional. Buy this model if you like music and don’t care that much about other features like a good camera, and web functionality.
