How To Clean The Apple iPhone
July 17, 2007
Included in the box the iPhone ships in, Apple has included a small, lint-free cloth that can be used to clean the iPhone. The cloth can be used to wipe clean both the screen and the case of the iPhone.
If you no longer have the original cloth that came with the iPhone, you can use a lint-free cloth as long as it’s really soft. Feel free to dampen the cloth with a small amount of water, but make sure there isn’t too much water on the cloth - you don’t want any water to penetrate the outer shell of the iPhone.
While cleaning the iPhone, make sure you never use any chemicals. The iPhone user manual states specifically to not use any household cleaners, window sprays, aerosols, solvents, alcohols, or anything abrasive to clean the model. (Unless of course you don’t mind your iPhone becoming tarnished and scratched - in that case, feel free.)
