Free Cell Phones With Bad Credit

So what do you do if you want to get free cell phones with bad credit? If you have found this article, you have probably already been to the store and aren’t able to get cell phones. Getting denied because of credit problems can be super embarrassing and sucks on tons of different levels. Some of the time they will straight up tell you no, or they will make you pay more than you would have to pay if you had better credit.
Can You Really Get Free Cell Phones With Bad Credit?
Yes, you can get a free cell phone still but you may have to give your provider a security deposit. Here’s what the different companies will do:
Verizon will probably ask you for a $400 security deposit if you have bad credit. They will pay this back to you after about a year by giving your account a $400 credit. This means that you won’t have to pay your bill for a while. So, basically it will take you about $18 months before your phone becomes truly free. Oh yeah, and if you pay your bill late a single time the deal’s off. Verizon will keep your deposit.
Sprint handles this in about the same way, except their deposits are usually only about $125. They will usually cut you a check after a year if you pay all of your bills on time.
T-Mobile will charge you up to $500 for your deposit if you have bad credit. Again, it takes a year to get it back.
Overall, getting free cell phone with bad credit takes a lot of time - at least one year. Most people that have bad credit struggle to pay their bills on time and for this reason aren’t ever able to get a truly free cell phone. They will put down a $400 security deposit and then will lose it because of laziness. If you fall in this category make sure to pay your cell phone bill on time!

Absolutely Free Cell Phones

If you’re searching for absolutely free cell phones you’ll probably eventually find one. However, is anything really free?
Cell phones can’t really be absolutely free because they obviously cost money to make. The suckiest cell phone on the planet will cost at least $40 to make, so how do people offer cell phones that are absolutely free? They do it by making people pay for cell phone service. So does this qualify to be placed in the category of absolutely free cell phones? I don’t think so.
Here’s the deal folks - in order to find a phone that’s free with no contract you are just going to have to search and search. You probably will find someone eventually who doesn’t need their phone anymore and is willing to part with it, but you’ll have to spend a lot of time to find this person or company.
Let’s say that you take ten hours today to search for a cell phone that doesn’t cost anything, and eventually find a person that’s willing to give you theirs. This means that you got your phone but spent ten hours to get it. Does this qualify for the absolutely free cell phones category? Again, I don’t think so.
That means people that really there is no such thing as an absolutely free cell phone! You will either spend time, commitment, or money to get it so what’s the point? I would spend my money so I don’t have to waste 50 hours of my time but that’s just me. Since you found this page you obviously would rather spend your time so search on! Keep following links around and searching and you will probably eventually find what you’re looking for - a cell phone that’s absolutely free. Best of luck and if you find one leave us a comment!
