Hilarious Bluetooth Device

October 3, 2007

This Bluetooth Necklace Is Freaking HilariousThis little device is the funniest thing I’ve seen all day. From first glance, it looks like a necklace worn by an attention craving has been, but is actually a functional Bluetooth device. This is a Bluetooth headset (sort of) that I would actually use. No more getting made fun of for talking on the awkward device that’s hanging from your ear.

This little bad boy costs about $50, but is currently out of stock almost everywhere. Yes, it comes with the necklace. No, you’re not lame if you use it.

The necklace/Bluetooth device can be paired to your handset just like any other device.

Verizon Wireless To Allow Users To Change Plan With No Contract Extension?

October 3, 2007

Verizon LogoReportedly, Verizon Wireless is going to start allowing customers to change their service plans without renewing their contracts. The honest truth is that this just doesn’t feel right.

Verizon has made their bucks by being sticklers for contracts - they are notorious for having poor customer service. This move seems doubtful to us, but it is being reported that Verizon will put the new change into effect as early as 10/7/2007.

Can it be true?

The Old Verizon Method

If you called in to change your plan, Verizon would happily let you know that you could change your plan if you wanted to renew your contract for another year or two. By the way, this would also push back the date you would be eligible for an upgrade. Yeah, it’s pretty messed up but they’ve been doing it for at least ten years, which is when I had my first Verizon phone. Lame!
