September 24, 2007
While you’re on a call, sometimes you will need to look stuff up. It’s possible to look up phone numbers, contacts, recent calls, and text messages while on a call. It’s actually possible to send and receive text messages as well.
To access the menu of your phone while on a call, all you have to do is press ‘Options’. You will see that either the top-right or top-left button will be labeled as ‘Options’, and pressing the correct button will bring up a little menu that will allow you to choose which function you would like to access while still on your call.
Once you have accessed that menu, your phone will act as if you weren’t on the call to perform that function.

Setting up voicemail on this model is a lot like doing it on other handsets. Here’s a step-by-step that can show you how to get it done:
- Call *86 using the Razr2 v9m.
- Follow the promptings.
It’s really that easy! You will be prompted to create a pin number that will restrict other people from accessing your v9m, and you will also be prompted to choose between a few different options. Additionally, you will be able to record a voice message or choose a pre-made message by following the promptings.
