Moto Razr v3i User Reviews

July 5, 2007

MOTO Razr v3iOk ya’all here is what users have been saying about the Razr v3i in their user reviews. As always, we have taken the user reviews and combined them into this one page.

The Positives of the V3i

  • iTunes - This was one of the first models to have the software and most users ate it up. From what users are saying, the iTunes functions extremely well. The model can hold about 100 songs on its included 256 mb memory card. The battery will last for about 8 hours while playing music.
  • Intuitive Voice Commands - With this little gem you don’t have to train the phone first. It can understand your voice with no training.
  • Camera Quality - Most users were quite impressed with the quality of photos they were able to take.
  • Name Searching - You can now search for names using as many letters as you want to use. With the original Razr v3, you could only search with one letter.
  • Very Nice Design - The model looks like the Razr, but offers a new color and a sleeker look. In reality it’s about the same size, but looks nicer.
  • Bluetooth 1.2 - This device was supposed to support multiple connections, but in reality it can’t unless you have the unlocked version. Even so, Bluetooth 1.2 is faster than previous versions.

Motorola Razr V3i Problems

  • The menu lags at times. From what users have been saying it’s the worst when they are trying to initiate a new text message. Also, a few users said in their reviews that there is a lot of lag when they press the menu button. One user discovered that they could fix the issue by deleting all of their text messages. It made the menu lag a lot less. This tells you that the model doesn’t quite have enough flash memory. If you’re willing to keep your saved texts down it won’t be that big of a deal.
  • You can’t have the camera at full resolution without a memory card.
  • Menu System Crippled in Cingular Version - The v3i that was released for Cingular has a diluted os installed on it. The Verizon version suffered of the same disease.
  • The model doesn’t have as many features as similar models: Katana and A900. The cameras are the same, but the card-slots have more capacity in the Katana and A900. Of course, with MOTO you’re paying for the look.
