Verizon Razr2 V9m Review
The Verizon Razr2 v9m is in reality the Motorola Razr2 v9m. The model is currently being sold through and used with Verizon Wireless, and is also being used with Sprint. The Sprint version has some different features, so if you use Sprint, this review won’t be 100% accurate for you.

Design
The Verizon Razr2 v9m’s design was done very well. We really liked the color scheme, although it is definitely better suited for guys. The copperish tone makes the model look pretty masculine so the ladies will have to wait for the pink Razr2 which will probably be out before too long. The screens on this model are pretty much unprecedented, the outer screen is the biggest upgrade over the original Razr series phone.
Reception
The reception of the Razr2 V9m is really great for voice. The call quality is really good, much better than it is with the Sprint version. In our are, the service reception for Ev-Do data wasn’t as good as it is with some other Verizon models, but it still worked just fine. The Krzr K1m provides better reception for Ev-Do in our area for some reason.
Functions
One drawback of the model for us was the address book. I personally thought that it was pretty funny that the ‘address’ book didn’t have a field for an address. Other than that little drawback, the model has all the regular functions including text, VZ Navigator, etc.
Camera
The Verizon Razr2 v9m’s camera isn’t that great to be 100% honest. Of course, it’s about the same as most other camera phones out there, which pretty much are garbage. Our test pictures were pretty pixelated, and often contains colors outside what was in the objects whose pictures were taken. Don’t plan on taking anything great if you’re using this model.
Music
Sorry Motorola but this is the biggest area where we didn’t like the model. The music is really hard to transfer, and you have to buy extra stuff to make it all work. Who wants to spend a bunch of extra money to be able to play music on a phone that says ‘music phone’ on the box? That’s lame dudes.
Overall
It’s a good model. Buy it if you aren’t into all the bells and whistles because this phone doesn’t do a good job with those features.
What do you mean, buy extra stuff to play music? I own one of these phones, and didn’t have to pay anything more to play music. It plays it straight out of the box. The only downloads that you need are free, and that’s IF you need them.
