This is a huge no-no. The people at the store will often get more commission for selling you one model than they will for selling another. Usually the higher commissions are available for the cell phones that the store is trying to move. These end up being the hard to move phones that aren’t as good.

Make your mind up by doing online research and head to the store to buy. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to ask the person at the store what they think, but take their recommendations with a grain of salt.
