Motorola Sliver L6
June 30, 2007
The L6 is on our watch out list, which means that there is a lot of knock off L6s floating around out there. Most are imported from China, and even though they will function on Cingular or T-Mobile service, they are not setup properly. You will never be able to use internet, and may not be able to use text messaging. So take some advice from the MotoGuru: buy from a site that you can trust. The MotoGuru recommends buying from Amazon, because they will take care of you, and get you the properly programmed handset.
If you buy the MotoSlvr L6 from them, you will get a better price than you can get in the stores.
The Moto Sliver L6 is a nice starter handset that offers a sleek design and nice functionality. The model offers Bluetooth and a really nice sound quality. The L6 also sports a built-in digital camera and hands free speaker phone.
The L6 follows the sleek design of the Razr series, and looks the part. The L6 has rounder cuts than the Razr, but looks great and has already become immensely popular. The L6 was originally only sold at Radioshack,. but is now offered in many locations both in stores and on the internet. The MotoGuru recommends Amazon.com, which has a mega low price. You can also send the phone back if you need to return.
The MotoGuru has recommended the phone for use by those that just want a phone that has good reception. There are more powerful phones out there for those who like a ton of functionality.
How To Transfer Songs To The Motorola Krzr K1m For Verizon
June 18, 2007
If you’re here, you probably asked, “How do I transfer songs to the Krzr?” or “How do I put music on the Motorola Krazr?” If that’s what you’re looking for, you’ve come to the right place. This walkthrough is for the Verizon version. How To Put Music On The Motorola Krzr For Verizon
You’ll need a few things:
- Mini USB Cable - You can buy it at Radioshack or order it from Amazon here.
- Motorola Krzr Driver - For details on how to install this driver, you should read our lesson on connecting the Krzr to your pc. Don’t go on in this lesson until you have completed that one.
- Sync Music Fix - This is a little patch that fixes a bug in most computers that makes them not connect to the Krzr. You can learn how to run this patch in the lesson on connecting the Krzr to your pc.
- Windows Media Player 11 - If you don’t already have it, you can get it for free here.
Once you have connected your Krzr to your pc (which you should have done by now) you will need to go in to your phone menu. Here are the steps you will follow in the Menu:
- Menu
- Get It Now
- Music and Tones
- Sync Music
Once you hit enter on “Sync Music”, you’re computer should open Windows Media Player automatically. You may get a little window that looks like this:
If you got the window, select “Sync digital media files……..” and click ok. Your computer will then open Windows Media Player and will connect it to your phone!
You will find your songs on the left, and will drag them to the right. If you look closely at the right side of Windows Media Player in the picture above, you will see an area the says, “Drag items here to create a list to sync.” That’s where you want to drag your songs to. One you have the songs that you want to transfer there, you are going to click, “Start Sync”. It will take some time to transfer all the songs over, and as soon as it’s done, you’re done!
Since this lesson is a tough one, I want to open up to questions. If you get lost anywhere, leave your questions in the comments. If I need to adjust the lesson to better explain something I will. I won’t know if you don’t ask!
