Activating Standalone Mode On The Motorola Razr2 v9m

September 22, 2007

Standalone mode allows you to use basic functions of your Razr2 v9m without allowing the phone to connect to its cellular network. This comes in handy while on a flight, or in other places where cell phone use isn’t allowed.

While your Razr2 is in standby mode, it won’t be able to make or receive calls, and also won’t be able to use Bluetooth.

Activating Standalone Mode

  • Make sure the phone is turned on.
  • Press the center button to pull up the menu.
  • Scroll over to ‘Settings and Tools’.
  • Select ‘Phone Settings’.
  • Select ‘Standalone’ mode.
  • Select ‘On’.
