LG Chocolate Sales Figures Are Rippin’
October 2, 2007
LG has averaged a ridiculous 850,000 Chocolate mobile phones in each quarter of 2007. To get an accurate representation of how huge that number is, you could compare it to the sales number of the iPhone, which has sold about 1,000,000 handsets in its first 90 days on the market.
850,000 is just huge for the Chocolate, which doesn’t have 1/10th the media coverage or promotional spend. This phone sports a regular mP3 player, but doesn’t compare at all to the power of the iPhone.
How did they sell so many bleepin’ handsets? They sold them to a heck of a load of teenage and 20 year old females. No matter what you think about LG, you have to give them props for the Chocolate. Dang!!
MySpace Picks Up T-Mobile And Danger As Carriers For Mobile Site
October 1, 2007
Helio has had a mobile version of MySpace going for quite some time now. MySpace now is getting their flex on once again, showing that social networking is gaining even more traction.
T-Mobile and Danger have each recently announced that they will be coming out with customized versions of MySpace that will be usable from their handsets. It appears that both companies will be rolling out software within the next 30 days.
Good luck staying busy ya’all. ![]()
