Motorola MotoRazr2 z9m Features

September 15, 2007

Razr 2 z9m

It’s surprising that Motorola took this long to create a model named Razr2. They obviously could have called the Krzr by that name but chose not to. The MotoRazr2 has a pretty nice feature set highlighted by a 2.0 megapixel camera and stereo Bluetooth.

Feature-wise, the model is very much like the Krzr K1m that is also available from the same service provider - Verizon Wireless. The major difference is that the Razr2 is slightly larger, which makes room for a 2.2″ screen that sports a pretty nice picture.

Features of the MotoRazr2

  • mP3 - WMA Player
  • Playlist Management Software
  • PC/Phone Sync-ability
  • Stereo Bluetooth
  • 2.2″ TFT Inner Screen, 2.0″ Outer Screen
  • 1600 X 1200 Resolution
  • VCast Music, Vcast Video
  • GetItNow Capable
  • Text Messaging
  • Video Messaging
  • Picture Messaging
  • VZNavigator
  • 1000 Phone Book Entries
  • Speakerphone
  • Advanced Speech Recognition Commands
  • EvDo Digital Only

This model is a pretty good handset, but it just isn’t up to par with some of the higher end models out there to be honest.

Bell Releases The HTC 5800

September 1, 2007

HTC 5800Bell, a major service provider in Canada has announced that they will officially release the HTC 5800 - nicknamed the Libra.

The 5800 is a Windows Mobile 2006 smartphone that features a two megapixel camera stereo Bluetooth, and microSD. The model is being released with much anticipation as Verizon and Sprint haven’t been able to release the phone here in the U.S.

The model is being sold in Canada currently for about $150 with a three year service agreement. I still can’t believe that people will sign three year contracts. Wow.
