How To Sync The Razr2 V9m With A Headset Or Other Device
September 24, 2007
In order to use a Bluetooth headset or other device with the Razr2 v9m from Motorola, you must first sync the device and the phone. In order to do this properly, you will first need to make sure that you have turned on Bluetooth in your v9m’s menu. You then use the following steps to pair your device to the Razr2:
- Place your device in pairing mode. We can’t provide you with the steps here for every Bluetooth device. You will need to look in your headset’s owners manual to figure out the steps for your particular device.
- Open your phone’s menu by pressing the center key.
- Scroll to ‘Settings and Tools’.
- Select ‘Bluetooth Menu’.
- Select ‘Add New Device’.
- Your phone will then show the devices that are within range. You will find and scroll to the correct device.
- Press the center button, which will ‘pair’ the device.

The Razr2 V9m can be connected to a computer via micro-USB. In order to connect the model properly, you will need to download the v9m driver for Windows XP. There is currently no driver that’s functional with Vista.
In order to get the v9m working with Windows Media Player, you will probably also need to install a patch, which we’re currently looking for.
